VAA Post-Secondary Scholarship

The Valley Athletic Association (VAA) is offers scholarships to support student-athletes in their post-secondary education, in 2025 Three recipients will each receive a $1,000 scholarship

As a non-profit, volunteer organization since 1969, VAA is dedicated to fostering athletic and social development in the ISD 196 community. This scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated commitment both on and off the field.

Application Requirements

✔ Past participation in VAA (volunteer service also considered when reviewing applications)
✔ Graduating high school senior or in the first two years of post-secondary school
✔ Minimum 3.0 GPA (must provide transcript)
✔ Previous scholarship winners are ineligible

How to Apply

Complete and submit the application form, including:

• Your most recent transcript (high school or college)
• A typed response to the essay question
• A personal recommendation from a coach, teacher, or volunteer coordinator
